MNGOPAC endorses MN State Representative candidates in eighty-one races

SAINT PAUL, MINN.  September 14, 2016 – The Minnesota Gun Owners Political Action Committee today announced their endorsement of candidates in 81 Minnesota State Representative races.  As with the Senate endorsements announced yesterday, the endorsed candidates span the state, include both challengers and incumbents, and cross party lines, demonstrating that the protection of the constitutional rights of Minnesota’s gun owners is a non-partisan issue.

"Today, we're excited to announce our full list of endorsements for the Minnesota House of Representatives, " said Bryan Strawser, Chair, Minnesota Gun Owners PAC. "These eighty-one candidates are committed to protecting the constitutional rights of Minnesota's law-abiding gun owners and moving forward with substantive legislation during the next legislative biennium."

"We will work diligently in the weeks ahead to support our endorsed candidates and preserve a strong pro-Second Amendment majority in the Minnesota House, " added Rob Doar, Political Director. "This year's endorsements in the Minnesota House and Senate represent our most comprehensive evaluation of races in our history. Gun owners across Minnesota can trust that these candidates will defend and advance their constitutional rights in Saint Paul."

Endorsement decisions by the Minnesota Gun Owners PAC were made after a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate, including reviewing public statements, voting records, candidate websites, and surveys completed by nearly every candidate running for office this year. Grading from other credible gun rights organizations was also taken into consideration.
